Software Engineer Senior #
Job Description:
Software Development in a variety of programming languages and technologies • Develops foundational knowledge of the business, business model, key processes, and priorities and applies knowledge to solutions. • Interprets business user functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, security) to develop system specifications in close cooperation with business analysts and business customers. • Works closely with other technical experts, Product Managers, Product Designers and business stakeholders • Apply design frameworks to solve problems • Interprets testing requirements, critical customer acceptance criteria, writes system, functional test cases • Reviews, critiques, and validates requirements specifications • Participate in Triage calls during Application Incidence • Mentor Junior developers • Work in shifts and provide oncall production support
 
Skills Required:

• 8+ Strong Object Oriented development background Java/J2ee, Struts or JSF. • 6+Experience in Spring, RESTFUL/SOAP Web services development. • 3+ Years in a Agile Product Team with independently handling Design and Operational support • Experience in JAVA development using Eclipse or similar tooling • Experience deploying to cloud environments . PCF, Openshift (CAAS) • Experience in Kafka, RabbitMQ Strong Java development skills, including Java, HTML, XML, JUNITS • Experience in ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA. • Experience in Operational Monitoring tools like SPLUNK, DYNATRACE • Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories and Build Tools like GRADLE • Strong knowledge on SQL. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems • Experience understanding/deploying to cloud environments – PCF.

 
Skills Preferred:

• Experience in Dev Ops – Jenkins • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines . • Experience with Data Structures, Data Modeling, RDBMS

 
Experience Required:
8+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT including experience in mobile/web application development and support
 
Education Required:
Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering
