Job Description:
As a Senior CAD Designer, tasks will include the following:
  • Design by using NX CAD system
  • Navigate Teamcenter (PLM), search and signoff on parts
  • Model simple or complex parts, assemblies, and dependent components
  • Define and apply GD&T for both assemblies and dependent components.
  • Develop new designs and re-designs, using prints, models, sketches, and verbal instructions Create complex concept layouts.
  • Perform max/min tolerance stack-ups.
  • Plan for overall project and component design timing and communicate to design supervisor Review other designer’s drawings and models for completeness and accuracy
  • Multitask by supporting multiple component designs for different programs
  • Ensure Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy between CAD and Teamcenter
  • Customer Design Standards

  • Fasteners – Standards and applications

  • Minimum 5 years mechanical design experience
Education Required:
  • Minimum 2-year college degree or equivalent design related training
Additional Information:
  • 6-month assignment with possible extension. Hybrid schedule - Mon and Fri will work from home; Tues, Wed and Thurs will be onsite.
