Job Description:
- The Dealer Learning Content Management (DLCM) Product Team within the Marketing and Sales Dealer Network and Employee Engagement Department maintains multiple foundational applications that are used to update, maintain, and distribute the core dealer training course data and related information.
- The DLCM Product team is moving to VMs and it uses rest APIs and Google APIGEE with Core Java / Oracle tech stack.
- This position is an opportunity to work with a strong team within on critical core applications across multiple technologies and provides an opportunity to modernize and shape the future of various Products including DLCM.
Position Duties:
- Experience with Java – J2EE, JSF, Angular front end application development
- Experience and aptitude to work with WAS, Rest/Soap API's and a CICD framework to edit existing and create new complex API's using Springboot
- Ability to handle both development and support for application hosted in WAS 9 server and other enhancements prioritized by Business for global countries with varying Business Rules by market
- Create high performing complex Oracle/PLSQL queries
- Develop, Test, & Deploy API's in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Take ownership of application issues, provide optimal solutions for several applications and significant enterprise projects that will enable data-driven decisions to create a competitive advantage for the company
- Be a part of a product team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, Anchor, and software engineers
- Work with Business teams to understand requirements for PDO Backlog features and deliver optimized solutions with high business value using Agile
- Participate in PDO product team ceremonies such as Standups, Iteration Planning, Retrospectives, and Release Planning
Skills Required:
- Experience with Java J2EE, JSF, WAS, Angular
- Experience developing java Rest / Soap API's using Springboot
- Good Knowledge with Cloud Technologies (GCP)
- Experience with key development and deployment tools (ex. GitHub, & Jenkins)
- Oracle/database experience involving multiple, complex queries
- Analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships
- Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a product team
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Strong drive for results and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
- Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans
- Strong Agile Project management capabilities
- Proficient in using Jira to help drive a metrics driven approach for IT team
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems
- Ability to deliver under pressure
Skills Preferred:
- Business/Systems knowledge with respect to Marketing Sales and especially Dealer Systems is a plus,
- Experience with Security and Code Quality Tools (i.e. 42 Crunch, Fossa, Checkmarx, CyCode, etc)
- Experience in Java, J2EE, JSF, Rest / Soap Services, Jenkins, WAS, Oracle, APIGEE
- Experience in working directly with PDO teams.
- Ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge
- Prior experience working with major programs/products involving multiple stakeholders or multiple regions
Experience Required:
- 6+ years of IT experience in below Java Experience
- Oracle / PLSQL experience
- Experience with API’s
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an information technology related discipline
