Job Description:
As a software developer the job involves translating high level business requirements into fully functional code. Skilled with Spring boot and Spring cloud experience designing the transformation and solutions on GCP cloud integrating native GCP services and 3rd party data technologies. Manage requirements and scope to design right solutions with appropriate combination of Spring boot/Java, PCF, Spring cloud data flow, APIs, GCP and 3rd part technologies for deploying on GCP cloud with high quality.
 
Skills Required:

• Expert in Cloud-Native Development, proficient in Java, Spring Boot 2.x, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, APIs, APIGEE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud scheduler, Cloud Logging and cloud Monitoring, Integration using Microservice architecture.
• Well versed with OOPS design concepts and good grasp of architectural patterns. Hands-on experience with unit testing/integration testing tools like Mockito, Cucumber.
• Familiarity with event driven architecture patterns.
• GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Terraforms/Tekton, JFROG repository expertise.
• Working experience in building Images and Containerization using Docker, Docker Engine using an orchestration system like Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Expert in designing and developing RESTful APIs, schemas, documentation using tools like Swagger and dev testing using tools like Postman, Fossa, Checkmarx, SonarQube.
• Knowledge of modern microservices security practices like OAuth2.
• Experience analyzing/tuning microservices performance.
• Proficient in Dynatrace, Splunk, SRE, Google Console cloud Monitoring.

• Work as a team player in an agile PDO to deliver working and quality software.
• Exhibiting independent thinking to build, test, deploy and document applications and services as a full stack developer.
• Working successfully in a team environment, coach, lead, and train resources
• Operating in an DevOps environment, performing the workload of a full stack developer.
• Innovate, improve, support business process to contributing to the architecture of robust cloud-based applications on GCP.
• Robust problem-solving skills to investigate, debug, test, and resolve code issues.
• Transform system requirements into technical design and application code base. Independently analyze medium to moderately complex system requirements and translate to industry standard technical design.
• Estimate development effort in support of project requests, based on documentation provided.
• Participate in code quality checks through reviews and code quality tools.
• Continuous learning will serve you well as you build skills in technology, data architecture, or management.

 
Experience Required: Minimum 6+ years software engineering experience in web, mobile, api or full-stack development.
 
Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with a specialization in Software Development or equivalent experience.
