Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create compelling and interactive data visualizations using tools like Qlikense, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate key insights and trends to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of data storytelling techniques to effectively convey data-driven narratives.
- Basic Data Science Tasks:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Develop basic machine learning models for tasks such as classification, regression, or anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with AI engineers on more complex projects, providing technical support and assisting with data preparation and analysis.
- GCP Specific Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
- Manage and optimize data storage and processing costs within GCP.
- Leverage GCP's machine learning services (e.g., Vertex AI, AutoML) for basic model development and deployment.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikense, Power BI).
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Tekton, Terraform).
- Experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow etc.)
- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data visualization, or a related field.
Education Required:
- Bachelor Degree
