Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced data engineer to join our growing software engineering product team responsible for supporting finished vehicle logistics at Company.
• As a team member of this product team at IS IT (Industrial Systems IT), you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data pipeline, integrated data platform and data products.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud solutions on GCP.
• Design, build and maintain batch or real-time data pipelines on GCP cloud platform.
• Develop and maintain ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to help manage data from multiple sources.
• Automate data workflows such as data ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing.
• Design, develop and maintain data transformation pipelines for handling complex business rules.
• Plan and implement the migration of legacy application to modern data platform.
• Build, maintain, and deploy data products for business operations, analytics and data science teams.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team to develop their skills and expertise in GCP.
• Monitor data systems performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Design and develop KPI/metrics reports/dashboards for business and IT team members and stakeholders

 
Skills Required:

• 6 years plus Data Engineering experience in developing and maintaining data products in GCP platform Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and database design.
• Strong implementation experience on various GCP’s Data Storage and Processing services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Data fusion, cloud spanner, Cloud SQL
• Experience working with data ingestion tools and API's Strong experience working with GCP cloud-based services & solutions.
• Must have programmatic experience with tools like Java, Javascript, Python.
• Experience in building advance Bigquery SQL and Bigquery modelling
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and with a team.

 
Experience Required:

• 6 years plus Data Engineering experience in developing and maintaining data products in GCP platform

 
Education Required:

• E/B Tech/MSc
