Job Description:

• He Edge OpenShift Engineer At least 5-8 years of experience on administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform at Edge locations (on premise) with hands on experience on IaC tools - Terraform, Ansible and scripting languages with Python, Golang, Bash.
• This includes building out the Clusters, managing container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity.
• Candidate work directly with infrastructure as code-based automation to manage the capacity of the overall platform and deliver new capacity and capabilities as necessary.
• Having a strong background in virtualization, networking, and security will be required in successfully fulfilling this role; and in providing first class level 2 support.

 
Skills Required:

• Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Expertise with Kubernetes.
• Expertise in IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Go
• Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops
• Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.

 
Skills Preferred:

• Experience with GCP cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies.
• Experience on Golang, Python
• Nice to have CCNA certificate

 
Experience Required:

• Hands on: Red Hat Openshift CaaS, Kubernetes, Infra As Code tools and scripting languages: Terraform Ansible Python Go

 
Experience Preferred:

• Network expertise CCNA certificate GCP

 
Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology

 
Additional Information :

• Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts
• Provides L2 engineering support
• Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
