Software Engineer Senior #1014901
Job Description:

• PDO - The Data Software Engineer position will involve design, implementation, testing and launch of new applications for loading dealer data and generating analytical insights.
• The position requires a strong foundation in Big Data with knowledge of Python and SQL query language.
• The primary focus involves the migration of data landing and transformation jobs from Teradata to Airflow (Astronomer) and BigQuery.
• The software engineer will work closely with IT team members and Business Owners to understand various business processes and apply this knowledge to design and implement solutions.

 
Skills Required:

• Python
• SQL

 
Skills Preferred:

• Strong Analytical skills

 
Experience Required:

• 3+ years experience with ETL solutions
• 3+ years experience of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• 3+ years experience SQL/Oracle/Teradata
• Ability to lead and mentor associate engineers
• Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts

 
Experience Preferred:

• Experience with Airflow (Astronomer)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with BigQuery

 
Education Required:

• S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
