Systems Engineering Consultant/Expert #1017664Job Description:
Objectives of this role:
- Implementing and maintaining new Continuous Integration tools and infrastructure.
- Understanding the changing needs of developers and translating them into action items.
- Creating new ways to automate and improve the Continuous Integration process.
- Testing and examining code written by others
- Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes
- Working with other teams in the organization to ensure adherence to our best practices
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
- Deploy updates and fixes as required to ensure Continuous Integration
- Develop solutions to integrate with internal back-end systems as needed
- Perform root cause analysis of development and production build and pipeline issues
- Develop automation to enhance current processes
- Develop new procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

- A strong foundation in System Engineering and Administration.

- Experience with one or more of the following Observability tools.
- Prometheus
- Graphana
- Datadog
- CloudWatch
- Lens
- Experience with one or more of the following log management tools.
- Elastic Stack
- Grafana Loki
- FluentD
- Experience with one or more of the following Configuration Management tools.
- Ansible
- Chef
- Puppet
- Experience with one or more of the following Cloud Platforms.
- GCP
- AWS
- Azure
Experience Required:
- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar software engineering role.
- Experience with embedded systems build and development process preferred.
- Team leadership experience highly preferred.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
