EDI Analyst #1028210Job Description:
Responsible for working on a cross-functional team to support the development, testing, and deployment of our new revenue management system. The Senior EDI Analyst will also lead/support key initiatives, customer onboarding and identify key process improvements and deploy solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
- Lead and/or support the development of key EDI initiatives
- Identify and implement key process improvements and technical skill development opportunities.
- Ensure data standards are HIPAA, DSCSA and industry compliant and adhere to Baxter privacy and security policies.
- Collaborate with IT business partners, suppliers, and customers on key business initiatives and projects, and liaising with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. List knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Strong understanding of healthcard data exchange and compliance with regulations such as DSCSA, HIPAA, and GS1 and EDI languages such as: ANSI X12, XML/UBL, HTML.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in EDI, with a minimum of 1 year of customer service/customer facing experience
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards, such as ANSI X12, XML/UBL, and HTML
- Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools
