Job Description:
Journal Entries and Reconciliation

• Prepare journal entries with detailed support in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare reconciliations; review account balances critically to assess their validity and ensure correct accounting treatment.

 
Month-end Close Process

• Assist in general ledger closing activities, including the Oracle close process.
• Prepare journal entries prior to the close to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
• Review non-recurring journal entries to determine their appropriate classification.

 
Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• Ability to apply professional guidance, such as GAAP and IFRS, and adhere to company policies and procedures to resolve various issues.
• Possess an analytical mindset and the ability to identify areas of improvement and proactively resolve issues.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), Word, and the use of ERP system.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate as a team player.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards interacting with colleagues at all levels.
• Able to work independently and effectively communicate with all finance and accounting staff and other stakeholders.

 
Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Oracle experience preferred
