Software Engineer Senior #1017008Job Description:
- The IT Product Development team supporting the Global Color Management System application (GCMS) seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Solutions Engineer.
- This role focuses on developing and maintaining robust data reporting and integration solutions.
- The ideal candidate will leverage a variety of tools and technologies to create insightful reports and visualizations, driving data-informed decisions and enhancing efficiency within the team.
- In addition to strong data analytics expertise, this role requires proficiency in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Python or Go, including experience with the FastAPI framework.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data tools is highly desirable.
Skills Required:
- Python Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts ETL processes and data warehousing RESTful APIs using Python (with FastAPI) QlikSense or Power BI.
Skills Preferred:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience Required:
- 6- 8 yrs
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in the Automotive or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience with at least one enterprise ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
- Experience with Airflow or other workflow management tools.
- Experience with GCP, including familiarity with (BigQuery, Cloud Run).
Education Required:
- BE / BTech
