Job Description:
Looking to hire senior agency Mainframe resource with below job description: Monitor batch job execution, identify and resolve failures, and ensure timely completion of batch cycles. Respond to alerts and notifications promptly, identifying the root cause of issues. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents/issues, working with various teams to restore service quickly. Participate in the change management process, reviewing change requests and assessing potential impact on production systems and implementing it following established procedures Participate in the yearly Mainframe Disaster Recovery planning & testing exercise Need to be available during weekends for on-call support and quickly resolve job failures Should have strong knowledge in JCL, COBOL, DB2, IMS, CA7 Should have strong SQL knowledge and experience in GCP Big Query is an added advantage Should have excellent problem solving and Analytical skills Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to work effectively in a team environment Should be available to meet the Return to Work policy as per the organisation mandate
 
Skills Required:
JCL, DB2, Cobol, IMS & CA7. Strong SQL experience is critical.
 
Skills Preferred:
Cloud experience (GCP preferred)
 
Experience Required:
>8 years
 
Education Required:
BE/B.tech/MCA in CS/IT or related branch
