Operations Management Senior #1019835Job Description:
- The new team member shall take ownership of first level support within an IT Product Team responsible to provide solutions for tax decision and tax reporting.
- Tax decision (Vertex O’Series) and tax reporting (Vertex TPE) services need to be monitored, and issues need to be addressed.
- His/her primary responsibility will be daily monitoring of many source-systems’ files processing to Tax Data Hub (Vertex TPE, a data warehouse) and to Spanish and Hungarian Tax Authorities.
- This includes identifying any issues and feedback to respective contacts and follow up on receiving missing and corrected data feeds.
- He/she needs to support the business on analyzing data issues and other SME and source system teams in testing.
- Advanced communication skills are essential to work in the Global team including external service providers (Vertex Inc.).

- Able to create and analyze data queries and reports
- Execute root cause analysis efficiently and correctly
- Follow up with many different stakeholders on issue resolution
- Excellent communications skills in English (written and oral)
Skills Preferred:
- Ability to manage the workload and the working relationship to other teams
- Proficiency in Agile processes
- Business analysis and data analysis skills
Experience Required:
- 3+ years of experience in 1st level support for complex IT applications
- Managing many items in parallel efficiently
- Advanced communication skills in English (written and oral)
Education Required:
- Bachelor in economics, computer science or similar subject
