Job Title: Front-End Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team at a pivotal stage in our growth. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize engaging, responsive user interfaces for our web applications. You will work collaborate with product managers, designers, and Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable and high-performance front-end solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust code quality.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Front-End Development

• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly and responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Implement pixel-perfect UI components that enhance user experience and overall application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

Architecture and Design

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture and design scalable front-end solutions that align with business objectives.
• Ensure the front-end architecture supports scalability, maintainability, and security requirements.
• Contribute to technical decisions, roadmap planning, and the continuous evolution of the front-end design.

Performance Optimization and Quality

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve application load times and responsiveness.
• Optimize front-end code for maximum speed and scalability across diverse browsers and devices.
• Integrate best practices for testing (unit, integration, e2e, and performance tests) to maintain high code quality and reliability.

API Integration

• Work closely with back-end Engineers to integrate front-end components with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Ensure seamless data flow and functionality between front-end and back-end systems.

Innovation and Improvement

• Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in front-end development.
• Propose and implement innovative approaches to enhance product functionality, user experience, and development efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in front-end development with a proven track record of delivering scalable web applications.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS along with modern frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
• Proven experience with component libraries and frameworks such as MUI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap for rapid prototyping and creating consistent, responsive UI/UX designs.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) features.
• Proficient in consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Skilled in utilizing automated testing frameworks—such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine for unit testing and Playwright or Selenium for end-to-end testing—to ensure comprehensive software quality and reliability.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques and responsive design principles.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively both independently and in team-based, fast-paced environments.
• Passion for mentoring and guiding junior Engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing environments.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
