Salesforce Administrator #1022142Job description:
Responsible for managing and optimizing the overall Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program including ongoing administration, reporting and training on applications used by Group’s sales team to track leads, prospects, partners, contacts, and account activity.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.
- Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
- Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data.
- Maintaining the sales, service, experience and marketing clouds
- Building of custom reports and dashboards
- Administering users’ permissions on objects, fields, and reports.
- Managing the installation and maintenance of applications within Salesforce.
- Creating customizations for use with Salesforce.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying issues.
- Creating and maintaining training materials and user documentation as business and processes evolve.
- Training end users and key stakeholders
- Coordinating the rollout of enhancements to the production environment, which includes coordination of all IT areas involved in the rollout.
- Solving business problems by customizing the Salesforce Platform.
- Working with stakeholders to define system requirements and customize the platform.
- Ensuring effective utilization of Salesforce tools and collaborating with stakeholders to meet organizational requirements.
- Identify and make recommendations for new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions.
- Evaluate source data entry, import processes, and ensuring proper data quality, standards, and consistency.
- User Support Ticket Management
- Sandbox environment management
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, SSO, Security.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in engineering (all fields acceptable), computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with implementation and administration of Salesforce.
- Must be able to consistently work during USA hours.
- Trailhead Badges/Super Badges
- Certified Salesforce Administrator is a must
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience understanding integration scenarios and design related to CRM systems.
- Strong documentation and training skills.
- Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
- Demonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issues.
- Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in change management and governance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
- Lean Process Experience (Green or Orange Belt, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Project management methodologies such as Waterfall & Scrum and the system development lifecycle.
- Demonstrates continued personal/professional development.
- Active in the Salesforce community.
