Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Automation Engineer to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM System Automation and experience with Dynatrace for monitoring and optimizing system performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our critical applications.
 
Skills Required: Mainframe Systems
 
Skills Preferred: Automation, Dynatrace
 
Experience Required:

• 6+ years in IT; - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience with IBM System Automation.
• Proficient with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring.

 
Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., REXX, Python, Shell).
• Familiarity with operating systems (z/OS, Linux, Windows) and databases (DB2, Oracle).
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

 
Experience Preferred:

• Certifications related to IBM System Automation and Dynatrace.
• Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• SRE, SLO, SLI and Error Budget.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development life cycle.

 
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
