Job Description:
  • This individual will be responsible to build & deploy products under the Industrial Systems Analytics in the GDIA space.
  • Looking for someone with a technical background and exposure to GCP infrastructure.
  • This person should have 9+ years of experience with leading product development & delivery experience along with software engineering practices, working in an Agile Environment.
  • This person will have interactions with Ford leadership and needs to have good communication (both written and oral) and should feel empowered to lead up actions.
  • They could also act as Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches to ensure team lives by the values and practices of scrum by embracing Agile/scrum/Kanban/Lean principles
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans, define the project/program scope, goals and deliverables for areas of technology application development and implementation for the enterprise
  • Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with IT teams, technology vendors, etc.
  • Facilitate the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between the internal teams and external technology providers
  • Effectively communicate status updates to all stakeholders across multiple organizations/ teams, with reinforcing quantitative measurements
  • Ensure project and program objectives, deliverables and results are completed within the agreed scope, timeline, budget and allocated resources
  • Provide accurate and insightful analysis and reporting, presenting the data in a clear format for presentations and reviews
  • Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of the projects/programs
  • Manage technology product goals and forecasts. Collaborate with technical development team(s) to translate the long-term objectives into actionable technology strategy and an implementation roadmap
  • Guide execution by applying standard frameworks and development lifecycle methodologies like agile, waterfall etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Product Owners to understand the business needs and contribute to product strategy
  • Should clearly communicate product vision / strategy to team members and stakeholders
  • Attend the required workshops to understand the product roadmap
  • Responsible for developing product features, prioritizing the backlog, and managing risks while ensuring the iterations and releases are meeting the business objectives
  • Verifies that the delivered software product meets desired business outcomes
  • Process driven to adapt agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques
 
Qualifications Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of product development & management experience
  • Knowledge in Angular, Java and Spring Boot development
  • Experience/ Knowledge on Google Cloud Platform
  • Technically inclined leader with experience/exposure of Java, Spring, APIs and Microservices
  • Understanding the usage of tools like GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins/ Tekton
  • Knowledge on implementation of DevOps and software craftsmanship practices like CI/CD, TDD, BDD, Pair Programming, Test automation tools
  • Resource needs to work with Product owner, Data Engineers and related stakeholders, and should be able to drive Product Solution
  • Gathers customer and internal feedback to improve and suggest product roadmap
  • Defines analytics to be collected regarding product, and prioritizes their collection across varied sources
  • Identifies risks, and implements mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of Risks
  • Communicate often and openly with the team by being responsive to in-person prompts
  • Enables team to build without impediment (removes blockers and trusts team iterations) Manage onboarding of new resources
