Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Planview Administrator to lead the technical configuration, maintenance, and integration of our enterprise portfolio management ecosystem.
  • This role is responsible for the health and performance of Planview Portfolios, and Planview Hub (Tasktop).
  • Unlike a purely functional analyst, this role focuses on system architecture, complex configurations, and managing the seamless flow of data between tools to support our Agile and Project Management workflows, as well as source systems of records for financial and resource data.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • System Configuration & Administration: Lead the administrative setup and configuration of Planview Portfolios, including managing attributes, lifecycles, financial settings, and security permissions.
  • Manage user access, license allocation, and organizational structures across the entire Planview suite.
  • Integration Management (Planview Hub/Tasktop): Design, build, and maintain integrations via Planview Hub to ensure data synchronization between Portfolios, AgilePlace, and external tools (e.g., Jira, Financial and Resource Management Systems).
  • Monitor integration health, troubleshoot synchronization errors, and optimize mapping logic to ensure data integrity across the ecosystem.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the technical support for system issues, investigating root causes for configuration errors or integration failures.
  • Collaborate with Planview vendor support and internal IT teams to manage system upgrades, environment refreshes, and API-related tasks.
  • Process Optimization & User Enablement: Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical configurations within the tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for system setups and integration mappings.
  • Provide a customer centric approach by training and guiding power users on advanced tool features and administrative best practices.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Planview Expertise: 4-5 years of hands-on administrative experience with Planview Portfolios (Enterprise One) Integration Proficiency: Proven experience configuring and managing Planview Hub (Tasktop) integrations, including a strong understanding of mapping logic and transformation rules.
  • Customer Service Mindset: Ability to patiently support and guide team members who may not be familiar with the tool.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Strong ability to diagnose complex system issues and understand the downstream impacts of configuration changes across integrated platforms.
  • Agile & PPM Knowledge: Solid understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to ensure tools are configured to support business processes.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to articulate technical constraints and solutions to both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented System Governance: A disciplined approach to system documentation, change management, and data security.
 
Skills Required:

Skills Preferred:

Experience Required:
  • Senior Associate Exp: 4 years in IT; 1 years in Program Mgmt., Expert in Proj Mgr

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
