Job Description:
  • Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs.
  • They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements.
  • Full-stack software engineering roles, who can develop all components of software including user interface and server side also fall within this job function.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions
  • Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies
  • Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
  • Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, architects etc.
  • Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations and market best practices.
  • Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Familiar with programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • Support security practices to safeguard user data including encryption and anonymization. 1
  • Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces
  • Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages
  • Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver their solutions, and are monitoring and participating in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration
 
Skills Required:
  • Pega PRPC Proficiency
 
Experience Required:
  • Senior Engineer Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang.; guides.
  • 10+ years in IT; 8+ years in development
 
Experience Preferred:
  • An experienced Pega tech lead who can think through requirements, guide overall design with phases, coach less experienced developers, resolve technical blockers, take accountability for overall design and implementation quality, adapt to evolving requirements, ensure sustainability.
 
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
 
Additional Information :
  • Senior Pega Developer - Latest PRPC experience including Rest APIs
  • Hands on expertise and experience in developing Bug free quality code which maintain 90-97 Guardrail score
  • Experience in multiple channels including digital messaging, CI/CD experience, Deployment Manager
  • Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
  • Advanced knowledge of PEGA Case Management
  • Complete knowledge in creating Access Group, Work Queue and Access Role
  • Complete knowledge in Working on Complex flow such as Split Join, Spin Off
  • Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
  • Ensures technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices as defined by the team/organization/industry
  • Ability to Translate business requirements into design/application builds
  • Knowledge in API based development (Connect/Service APIs)
  • Knowledge in Developing Dynamic UI controls.
  • Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer.
  • Uses Ui/Ux Design Practices to Advocate for The Customer and Help The Team Evolve the Product.
  • Meticulously Plans and Tracks Activities for Meeting Target Deadlines.
  • Produces Research Assets (Journey Maps, Affinity Walls, Empathy Maps, Storyboards, Personas, Etc.) To Capture Learning and Communicate the Immersive Customer Experience with The Team and Other Stakeholders.
  • Conveys Design Requirements and Specification Details to The Team and Ensures They Capture Business and Customer Value
  • Builds effective relationship with various functional and technical teams to progress the work
  • Contribute and maintain product backlog and enable the team to go further with effective usage of Jira.
  • GenAI connectors, any of the AI capabilities
  • GCP cloud functions, integrations experience preferred (AWS, S3- acceptable)
  • Understands Design Principles and Tools.
  • Hands On Experience Querying SQL/NoSQL Databases
