Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM-CPE Functional Consultant to design, configure, and implement robust procurement and commodity pricing solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex commodity market purchasing requirements and SAP technology.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of SAP Materials Management (MM) processes integrated with the SAP Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE). The ideal candidate possesses deep functional knowledge of SAP ERP/S/4HANA MM, hands-on expertise in configuring complex commodity pricing formulas based on market indexes (e.g., LME, Platts, CBOT), and a strong understanding of commodity procurement business processes.
Skills Required:
  • SAP S4 HANA
Skills Preferred:
  • functional consulting experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) and CPE module.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, including implementation, rollout, or support environments.
  • Strong configuration knowledge in purchasing, pricing, release procedures, movement types, and FI-MM integration.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for procurement and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience Required:
  • Engineer Practitioner: 1 coding language or framework.
  • 4+ years in IT;
  • 3+ years in development
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree


Additional Info:
  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP CPE formulas, terms, rules, and pricing procedures to support complex commodity purchasing.
  • Configure Derivative Contract Specifications (DCS), Market Identifier Codes (MIC), and quotation names for commodity price evaluation.
  • Configure and manage market data feeds and exchange rate integrations to automate the upload of commodity market price quotations.
  • Configure MM pricing procedures (schemas), condition types, and access sequences, ensuring seamless integration with CPE.
  • Maintain and optimize master data structures, including Material Master, Business Partner/Vendor Master, and Source Lists.
  • Partner with procurement, supply chain, etc units to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Conduct Fit-Gap analyses and propose standard SAP best practices over custom developments where possible.
  • Author detailed Functional Specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects), including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
  • Collaborate closely with ABAP developers and integration teams to deliver custom logic when standard SAP functionality does not meet business requirements.
  • Define test strategies, prepare test scenarios, and execute Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create comprehensive user training documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for business key users.
  • Work on hypercare and production support, troubleshooting complex pricing and procurement issues, system bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical SAP concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile project delivery environments.
