- Ford Motor Company's Enterprise Technology organization is looking for a hands-on and highly motivated Software Engineer to work with a global team developing and deploying cloud solutions for Ford's Supply Chain organization. The Software Engineer will develop and maintain back-end/server-side parts of applications, typically consisting of APIs, databases, and other services containing business logic. They work with various languages and tools to create and maintain services on-prem or in the cloud.

- Technical Skills and Experience required (Key requirements):
- 5+ years of work experience in Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud), REST APIs, and Cloud Native Development on Cloud Platforms
- Strong Java/JEE Object-Oriented Development experience and expertise in building microservices architectures on the JVM platform with a good understanding of design patterns
- Experience in RESTful Web Services development on Cloud platforms and Apigee
- Expertise in Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CaaS, and CloudRun
- Strong expertise in RDBMS and SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Strong working experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA
- Experience with Enterprise SSO technologies including ADFS, SAML, and Cloud-based security
- Expertise in Source Control Repositories (GitHub or equivalent)
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Agile SCRUM
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, Tekton Pipeline, and Gradle
- Experience with clean code principles such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing Unit, Integration, and Acceptance test cases
- Familiarity with Security tools (SAST/DAST) and static code analyzers such as Checkmarx, FOSSA, SonarQube, and 42Crunch
- Exposure to Cloud Monitoring and logging tools such as SPLUNK and Dynatrace
- Proficiency with Java editor tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or STS
- Nice to Have:
- Relevant cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of Supply Chain systems and integrations with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4 HANA
- Bachelor's Degree

- Collaborate directly and continuously with product managers and product owners to prioritize deliverables, with a focus on business and user value, continuous improvement, and an innovative mindset.
